HOW TO COMPLETE IGNOU BLIS ASSIGNMENTS WELL

Each candidate for the BLIS programme is required to complete one assignment in each of the courses. A practical component will be required in BLI-224, BLIE-228, and BLIE-229. The counsellor will grade practicals and tutor-marked assignments (TMA).

IGNOU BLIS Project completed assignments and practicals count for 30% of a course's overall grade. 70% of the final test for the term is weighted. The grades or marks you receive for your assignments and practical exams will therefore be included in your final grade. You should take assignments and practicals seriously, turn them in on time, and submit them.

Keep in mind that assignments and practicals are required. If you don't turn in the required number of assignments and finish the practicals by the due date for this course, you won't be able to take the term-ending exam. PRINCIPLES OF THE BLIS ASSIGNMENT:

On the left side of the first page of your answer sheet, write the programme title and code, course title and code, assignment number, and name and code of the study centre.

For each assignment, the very top of the first page of your response sheet should read as follows:

Assignment Number.......................... Address.........

The Study Centre (Code)...

Candidates must adhere closely to this format; otherwise, the assignments will not be accepted.

Your response sheet must be entirely accurate. Before submitting an assignment, make sure you have addressed all of the questions. You will receive low grades if your response sheets are incomplete.

  • Do not simply copy your responses from the units. Reproducing from units could result in a zero.
  • Do not replicate answers from other students' answer sheets. If plagiarism is discovered, such pupils' assignments are likely to be dismissed.

  • Use only writing paper in A4 size for your response; neither too thick nor too thin is acceptable.
  • Leave at least 4 lines between each response in an assignment, with a 3-inch space on the left and right. This will enable your counsellor to make sensible comments where they belong. Every response should include the question number.
  • The Coordinator of your Study Centre will give you the evaluated assignments back. Additionally, copies of assignment sheets with the evaluator's overall remarks on your performance on the assignment are included. This will enable you to get better on future mission and on your term-end exams.
The Coordinator of the Study Centre assigned to you must receive the tutor-marked assignments.
